Tim Kenney We pride ourselves in working as a team, as partners in a collaborative approach to your marketing needs. Whether we’re developing strategic positioning, collateral materials, or re-branding your company, we work together in achieving results.

TIM KENNEY: Creative Director and CEO of Tim Kenney Marketing Partners, has 33 years of experience in the design industry. Tim’s work has been published in two volumes of American Corporate Identity, Logo 2000 and Logo 2001 and, under his direction, his agency has garnered 75 prestigious design awards…and still counting.

Tim was founding Art Director of Regardie's, the national award-winning business magazine, which defined a new territory in business communications. As a magazine design and positioning specialist, Tim was personally responsible for the redesign of Equus, Polo, Cathedral Age, Glass, Global Business, Symphony and Preferred Traveller magazines. While Art Director of Common Cause magazine, an investigative journalism publication, the magazine garnered the "General Excellence" Award from the National Magazine Awards.

As a writer, Tim has been published in InPrint and Successful Magazine Publishing, been reviewed in various design publications, including Print, The International Design Journal, Magazine Design and Production, and Folio, and recently interviewed by Desktop Publisher. In frequent demand as a speaker and teacher, he is an adjunct professor for media at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC, and has lectured on design and advertising at the George Washington University School of Journalism, and at The American University. He also consults to many organizations throughout the United States.

MICHAELA PRATT, Business Manager, came to TKM from the heart of Sweden as a graphic design and photography student. Starting at TKM as an intern she is the true multitasker among us, and truly made herself indispensable to the team. Not only is she on top of all the business issues, she is a young designer in training and is taking continuing education college level courses. Her dream one day is to be able to ride a reindeer to New York and back in one hour.

BECCA POWELL, Designer and Web Accelerator, enjoys pretending to be a pilot while sitting in our B52 Bomber Seat, which happens to be just her size. She attended Messiah College where she studied art and spent her time staring (creatively, of course) at computer screens and carrying around cameras. At the end she came out with a BA in Art and a love for great design. Becca loves the free museums and also escaping to the less populated outdoors. A consummate digerati, Becca builds most of our websites. She can do it!
JULIE HOYT-DORMAN, Designer, has been associated with us since 1992. Among other skills, Julie brings great magazine sensibilities to her primary assignment: Cathedral Age Magazine, an award-winning publication of the Washington National Cathedral. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Julie has a BFA in Communication Arts and Design. An avid animal lover, Julie is also the caretaker of the studio dog, a Jack Russell terrier, named, oddly enough, Jack.
BEN MACKLER is a first rate Pixel Ranger, spending most of his day in his basement designing and developing websites and presentations for high profile clients. He usually doesn't venture into the sun light until feeding time. His family refers to him as "the guy downstairs", his clients call him to get the job done.

Ben has worked with the IDFA, MCI Worldcom, the US military and the CDC, among many others.

EDA ATASOY, (on sabbatical leave) Designer, worked with us as an intern during her college years, and liked us so much she decided to come back after she graduated. She now designs and puts together newsletters, corporate identity pieces and websites, all while petting Hazel, the attention-craving office cat. Eda recently graduated from Boston University, where she earned a BS in Communications concentrating in advertising. While not at work, she likes to make collages from magazine cutouts, watch movies and explore new places.
